Sunset

  After the weather we have had here the past few days thought you all might enjoy this:  This was sunset one evening last year while we were on vacation.  These are all raw.  No edits.  In order they occured.  Folks you can't make this up or change it.  It is what it is.  Beautiful & hand made by God!!  Enjoy!

Promises, Promises

In May of last year, our area was hit with a flood.  Our other business was pretty much under water rather quickly.  I was immediatly thinking there goes vacation for this year.  But as I sat in church the very next morning, God spoke & showed me Isaiah 43:1-3  But now, this is what the Lord says, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel:  "Fear not, for I have redeemed you: I have summoned you by name, you are mine.  2 When  you pass through the waters, I will be with you: & when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned: the flames will not set you ablaze.  3 For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior".  I don't want to leave 4 out, "Since you are precious & honored in my sight & because I love you"... We ended up & booked our vacation in the gulf, but you know the story there, oil.  So we moved on over to Florida.  Well, it was nice, but is wasn't my home away from home.  But on the second morning there this is what I got:

Remember the story of Noah?  Well it wasn't but a few weeks after we got back that a dear friend pointed out verses 18 & 19 in the same chapter of Isaiah.  18 "Forget the former things: do not dwell on the past.  19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up."   I've really been thinking about the "new" thing.. Could this blog & this adventure be it?  Just maybe... As I said, He has given, & I am ready for more.  Thanks for stopping by & reading.  Back to business & posting pics soon..

Without futher Ado

Ok, before I start let me warn you, you might want to get a cup of coffee. This is gonna be a long post.

Joshua 6:16 says: "The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the people, "Shout! For the Lord has given you the city!"

 I read this on proverbs31.org this week.  I fully believe when God blesses, which is everyday, we are to give Him thanks & praise for it.  So that is what I am doing.  I have done it between Him & myself, but I want you all to know, I know from whom my blessings flow & I want Him to get all honor & praise for what He is doing here.

 At the end of the devotion the writer asked this question, What has God given you that you need to take hold of - even if it doesn't look like it from where you're standing?  A dream He's whispered to your heart? Can you move forward in worship & trust, counting on the fact that it has been given to you already? Focusing on what lies ahead & not what's happening now?  You see the Israelites couldn't see that God had ( notice the word) GIVEN.  He was telling them in this verse, I've already done this thing for you!

In the process of this photography business, I haven't been looking at what He has already Given.  Like I have said earlier, I wouldn't have done any of this, I mean ANY of this if it weren't for D.  He has encouraged & had hidden faith.  He said you need a "place", I said "NO I Don't!"  I laugh & say he was just tired of the car port being junked up.   Each time I think oh Lord what am I doing?  Why are we doing this? What is, was he thinking?  God provides another client, another shoot.  So He has given & I am accepting & waiting to see what He is going to do next.  And I believe with every ounce of my being He will do something next.  He has Given.  And this is some of what He has done...

Baby girl is having a birthday!!!

I am one!!!!!  Let me just tell ya,  this baby girl is a drama queen.  She was full of drama even in her mama's womb. 

But isn't she oh so sweet?

Oh what fun I had with this little toot!  He was just way too funny!  And talk about a cutie!!! Be still all those little girls!! These curls are gonna be a heartbreaker for sure.

I have come to absolutely love these two!!! And since this photo shoot, now three.  But baby Boy deserves his on post so that will be up in a few days. 

See!!! They are oh so cute.  And it was oh, so.Cold.  I tell you!

Let me introduce you to my mater!! I don't believe he has gotten in on any of my post.  Since this photo, D has put a headlight in.  Not sure how I feel about that yet.  Having one headlight made him his own lil ol truck.  Gave him some character.  Don't ya think?

This is one of my favorites of these two,  & not a bad shot of mater!

She may want to kill me for posting this one, but it just show dad's personality!  I'm tellin ya'll, these two are so much fun!

If you can't tell by these photos, I think this one speaks...They really do love each other.  They really do have fun together.  And I do believe they really enjoy each other's company.  That is what makes a good, strong, couple.  And now, a family of three.  This one will be continued in a few days.....Thanks you two for letting me have the opportunity share this very special time with you.  I had a blast.  I always do when I'm around ya.
