It's beach time!

A couple of posts back I told you that we took a vacation and while we were there I worked a little bit.  Well, this is another family that I had the opportunity to photograph.  This was baby's first trip to the beach.  And although he may not really be thinking it, use your imagination with me for a second.  This is how I usually feel when we get there.....Ahhhh yes, I finally made it!

Nobody loves like a mama!

But then again, daddy loves his boys too.

There really is nothing better than sand on your feet.

Is there?

I just love this one.  One of my all time favorites.  But then again, I have a lot of those.  But this one ranks up there.

This lil fella was ready to be done with all this.  There were other things to do besides take pictures.

Again I am grateful to have the opportunity to capture these moments for this sweet family.  It may not mean anything to anyone else but me, but like I said, this was baby's first trip to the beach.  Memories were made.  Memories were captured.  I'm glad they asked me to be the one to do it.

The best year awaits!

Well, this was my first senior picture experience.  I will have to admit, it was hot that July morning.  But this young man was a true sport.  Even though it was hot, I enjoyed every minute of it.  This is an exciting time in a young persons life.  Glad I was allowed the chance to capture them for this family.

I must admit my "mater" has been worth the investment.  Everyone loves him and he looks so good in pictures.

The road is paved for the class of 2012.  It is up to them to decide how they will travel it.

I have a feeling that this young man will travel it just fine.

The book in his hand isn't just any ol book.  It is the life's road map and he wasn't ashamed to bring it and have his picture made with it.

You see,  he's following a great leader.  In fact, he is following the One who paved the road.

And he doesn't mind anyone knowing it.  The world needs more people like him.
Again, it was a pleasure to capture these moments for him and his family.
Hope this year is the best yet!

Who needs a vacation?

I admit it.  Yes our family took a vacation.  And while we were there I did a few of these.  I am not complaining.  I loved every minute of it.  Thanks again friends for allowing me the opportunity to capture this time for you.

Sweet family portrait.  I just love these people!

Sweet boy who just really wanted to play. But who doesn't when you are on vacation at the beach?

She was really wondering what she could get into.

I just love this & I can't decide if I like this one or.....

this one better.

But then again, I love this one too!

They love each other.   So sweet!

Memories were made here.  So glad I could capture just a few.

Mr. Peyton

I don't usually put a post up before getting the proofs to the client but I just couldn't resist on this one.  The father in these pictures was my first boy before I ever had babies of my own.  And now he's all grown up with a wife and boy of his own.  They were here for a visit and he wanted auntie to take some photos of his boy.  So what's an aunt to do?  Yep. Take pictures like the boy wants.  I can't tell you how fast I fell in love with his little guy.  I fell in love with the first photos they sent and posted right after he was born.  But to get my hands on him.  Oh my!

They are the cutest family!

And they added this lil stinker to ours!
Just for the record, he isn't crying or even trying to.  He loves to make faces.  This time it was at my oldest who was behind me.  He had done it the night before and got lots of attention from it.

He's such a lil man!

I don't think any of us were ready to fall in love with them as fast as we did.  But I have to say, on behalf of all the TN family, "Welcome to the family."

This great aunt is sure gonna miss my lil man!
Aunt Beth loves you Mr. P.T.

It's a boy!!!

Remember a few months ago there was a post of a young couple who were expecting their first child?  Well here he is!!!

I have to admit this was my first ever newborn session & I had a ball.  He was so sweet.  Just a little over a week old at the time.  But time flies and he isn't this little anymore.

Daddy was quiet thrilled.  You can tell he loves his boy.

                                                   So sweet!

                                                             Daddy's hands!

                                                          And a mama's love!

Don't worry.  Mama loves her boy too.  Boys just have a way of getting to their mama's heart.

                                                 We did good!!

                                               Love it!!!

                                                        Sweet blessing!

Priceless gifts from above.
I am so thankful that this sweet little family let me have the opportunity to capture these moments with them.  It was so much fun.

She's a lil blue

I

I will have to admit, she is a little more blue than what I had intended.  I have never been good at picking out the colors that are in my mind.  Does that make sense?  Any way, this is the almost finished home.  Now all she need is yes, some flowers & a few more touches here & there.

Here is the pond.  All it needs is you.

Another shot.  This is, as you can see, a little bridge.  Again all it needs is you or someone you know.

Again, needs someone.....

Another stop along the way..

Again, just needs someone next to it.

It may be hard to see, but there is a swing there.
Just needs someone in it.

In all seriousness, I am ready.  It is getting close to time for seniors to be having their pictures taken.  Contact me if you are interested.  I can come to you or you can come here.
