Through the years...

While I was downloading these & getting them ready for print, I couldn't help but really look at the expressions on these faces & wonder what the story was.  And you can defiantly tell there are years of stories there.  You can tell there are years of love there. To walk with the love of your life through this life is a story within itself.

She wanted these for Christmas gifts for their children.  Now, I can't lie, she wasn't crazy about these shots because their glasses turned.  I, on the other hand, absolutly love them.  They both wear glasses that do this in the sunlight.  It is real.  There is no pretending here.

Do you see the years? Can you see the stories?

Come walk with me my love... I know, I am a hopeless romantic.  I have a warpped imagination.  Can't help it.

Still holding hands after all these years!

It looks like he is saying to her "you have got to be kidding!"

Love this!!!!

See, you are never too old to have photographs taken, memories captured.  Moments to save.

To be reminded...

This is not the kind of post I have been posting.
Yesterday my heart was full of emotion.  I had dealt with so many people who don't seem to know our God even exist.  It is just sometimes more than I can deal with.  I leave work sometimes with such a heavy heart.  Yesterday was no exception.  Some days you just have to laugh to keep from crying. Yesterday  was no exception.  But it all came to a head so to speak when I pulled up to the mail box & we had a letter from T.  I can't begin to tell you how excited I was.  Then the tears of joy came.  Then I was reminded of how blessed I am. We are. And as I started to really bring the day to a close, I checked in on one of the blogs I follow & pictures of children in Ethiopia were posted.  How iroic is that?  She is so close to our T.  But this picture ripped my heart out......
Yep, we think we have it bad... I don't think so.
To read more or see more pictures go to Jonesbones5.com.  (There is a link on the sidebar) I think you will be moved.  I pray today that I will be reminded of just how blessed my family really is.  May you be reminded too.  May we all hear His still small voice.  Thanks for letting me share.

Fall Fun with Friends!

Well I can't really say anything about this post other than enjoy!!! Once again I had so much fun with these kiddo's, mom & grandmother.  I realize that even though I don't really like posing people, alot of them are posed.  But when you get small kids, I love, love, love to turn them loose & once again, these two were just fun.  They did their thing & I tried to capture it.  These were all taken here @ Ella B's place. So here we go.....& once again, Enjoy!

Can you tell they love each other?

Isn't she just adorable?

Big brother looking out for lil sister!

I love this!!!

They are checking everything out.  In their own little worlds.

So handsome.

He loves his grammy!

No one told him to stop by the tree.  He just was running through the woods.  Having fun being a boy.

Love this family!!! Thanks for letting me capture some moments of these little ones.

One fun, hot, fall afternoon.

I have yet to have a session that wasn't fun. Well, for me any way.   The guys in these photos were not too keen on it.  But they were really good sports.  I had fun making them miserable anyway.  And I think the results turned out pretty good!  This family like the others were so much fun to work with.  Thanks guys!!!

This pose went on the Christmas cards I do believe.  Believe me, it didn't feel like Christmas on this particular afternoon.  IT WAS HOT!!!

Girls always just want to have fun.  These two were no exception.  They had their outfits planned out before I got there.  Love the second photo of them!!!

Now this was fun for the guys.  They were more in their element.
Now this pose may not be a favorite of everyone, but I kinda like it.

When they guys changed, this just happened to be where everything was laid, or landed.

All in the family

Now these two lil fellas were not concerned in the least bit about having their picture taken.  They were more worried about Colby & Sampson.
They are our great nephews.  And boy are they both a mess.  But boys will be boys.

Monkey see monkey do.

Wonder what he is thinking about?

Oh what a mess he is.  But oh so cute!

Wonder who the clown is?

Fishing runs deep in the blood!

The lengths I go to.....

I had to go way back in the woods for this one.  (well, maybe not "way" back but far enough for me)  I even allowed him to spary me with anti human spray.  You know, the kind you spray on you so the deer won't know you've been there kind?  Whatever that is.  Any way, this young man wanted his picture taken in his deer stand so I went.  This was the result. Or one of them anyway.....

Let's not forget about lil brother.  One of these days he's gonna do this too.....

But until then,  he may just chase the chickens.....

No one knows pride & joy like a good Paw....& can you tell how proud he is?
And then there is always that special place where we all enjoy being....

And at the end of the day.......
you take your hat off & rest.

All of these pictures were taken on this family's property.

Sisters

A sister is someone to fight with, share a few secrets with.  Love, hate, dance with, play games with.  Make memories with.  Or drive mom crazy. A sister is someone to play dress up with.  A sister is someone you have for life.
Secrets you only share with your sister.
Never to leave.  So I will follow in your footsteps because you won't lead me in the wrong direction.
One would wonder what a teenage girl really thinks.

They were such good sports.  I will have to admit I have more that three pics of them.  I tend to get a bit carried away when taking pictures.  That only makes it hard on me.  Trying to decide on which proof to publish & what not.  Like I have said, I love the story they tell. Thanks you two & mom for allowing me the opportunity to capture some of these moments.
